2026

Formation and launch of JK E-sports UG

What started as a casual conversation among friends during a summer cookout eventually evolved into the vision for an electric longboard. The earliest working models were later handcrafted and refined inside a home garage workshop.

2014

THE BEGINNING OF OUR INNOVATION

We filed our first patent application for an electric longboard drive system, an early step that helped shape the technology, engineering expertise, and innovative thinking behind JAYKAY’s electric water sports products.

2015

A GROWING COMPANY

As JAYKAY continued to grow, the company expanded through its first investment round and evolved into a stronger foundation for future product development, innovation, and international growth.

2017

FIRST PRODUCT LAUNCH

JAYKAY introduced its first electric longboard: combining innovative drive technology, clean design, and a passion for creating intuitive riding experiences. This launch marked an important step in the company’s journey toward smart electric mobility products.

2018

FEATURED ON NATIONAL TV

JAYKAY appeared on "Die Höhle der Löwen", Germany’s version of "Shark Tank", where we presented our vision for innovative electric mobility products to a national audience.The experience gave us valuable insights, strong media exposure, and helped increase awareness for the JAYKAY brand and its growing community.

2019

DEVELOPMENT OF THE JAYKAY E-FIN

From the initial concept to a market-ready product, the development of the JAYKAY E-Fin moved rapidly thanks to years of experience in electric drive technology and product engineering.By combining innovation, hands-on testing, and expertise gained from previous mobility projects, we created a compact and intuitive electric fin system designed specifically for modern water sports adventures.

2021

FIRST GENERATION OF THE JAYKAY E-FIN

JAYKAY launched the first generation of the e-Fin: introducing a compact electric fin system with an integrated battery and smart assist technology for SUP and kayak adventures.The launch marked an important milestone in bringing intuitive electric water sports technology to riders looking for more range, comfort, and freedom on the water.

2022

LAUNCH OF THE JAYKAY E-FIN 2.0

JAYKAY introduced the next generation of the e-Fin, featuring improved performance, refined engineering, and new smart features designed to enhance the riding experience on the water. With a more advanced design and optimized technology, the e-Fin 2.0 represents the continued evolution of intuitive electric water sports innovation.

2024

THE NEXT CHAPTER: USA

With the launch of JAYKAY in the United States, we are bringing German engineered electric water sports technology to a growing new community of riders. Together with Brownie’s Marine Group (BWMG), one of the most experienced names in the marine and water sports industry, we are expanding the JAYKAY experience across the U.S. and making innovative adventures on the water more accessible than ever.
