High-quality workmanship and a nice carrying case. The customer service is also good and responds promptly. My remote had an issue and was replaced immediately. The remote requires a USB adapter with a stable 5 volts. This is not included. The manual could be a bit more detailed. Keep up the good work!!

I bought the fin to assist my Itiwit kayak. The first trip (2 people, 200 kg combined) on the “Amazon of the North” (Wakenitz) was impressively trouble-free for the first 1.5 km in all power levels and modes. But then, unfortunately, we collected some seaweed, which naturally reduced the fin’s performance. Despite a 1-meter-long trail of seaweed attached to the fin (which we unfortunately couldn’t remove while on the water), it still helped us paddle 2 km back to the starting point against the wind. Of course, after such an exceptional extra load, the battery was empty. However, we were more than pleasantly surprised by the fin’s performance. Under normal conditions, it would easily have lasted four times as long.

Result... top product.

Oh, and I slightly modified the mounting adapter by sanding it down a bit so that it would fit.

I was skeptical, but now I'm thrilled. It fits perfectly on my Jobe SUP board and is really fun to use.

Very disappointing customer service experience. There is basically no customer support for the JK e-Fin 2 in the United States. There is no phone number to call, it is unclear who officially sells or supports the product in the U.S., and there seems to be no reliable way to get help when something goes wrong.

I needed a replacement adapter for my unit, but no one has responded to my messages. I also could not find any useful information online about where to buy replacement parts or who to contact for support.

For a product at this price, this level of customer service is unacceptable. If you have a problem with the unit, it feels like you are completely on your own. Very frustrating and disappointing. I and going to return it

I love my e fin - can’t believe I paddled without it.

Exceeded expectations. Tried several lesser alternatives before landing on the Jaykay rig. This thing is built to last. Highly recommend.

The delivery was fast and complete. The new electric fin has more power and better control than my old fin. The assistance while paddling against the wind and waves is very noticeable. I mainly paddle on the Baltic Sea.

I have a lot of fun paddling with the electric fin.

First experience was positive.

Very satisfied.

The e-fin was easy to install! I screwed on the US Box adapter, inserted the fin into the SUP, and secured it with the fin screw. Attached the remote control to the paddle, switched it on, and off I went. The different power levels are great, and the battery level indicator is useful so you still have enough energy left for the way back after a full-speed adventure. The reverse gear is also excellent. I can only recommend this product! The test location was Lake Garda in the windy northern part, where this fin is very useful when paddling against the wind!

The fin is very well made and easy to install. All necessary accessories are included in the package. The delivery was fast and without any problems. The transport cases for the fins are also very good, making it easy to transport and store the fins and accessories, especially when traveling by car, while providing excellent protection. The service from JayKay is simply outstanding and deserves 10 out of 10 stars.

Can be recommended

Seen, bought, and tested. I immediately took it out on the Elbe River. I completed the route I usually paddle about 15 minutes faster with the fin. However, the battery was also empty after 2 hours. I mostly used paddle assistance and went full speed for about 300–400 meters. I thought I had read that you could get 6 hours with paddle assistance. I doubt that. Overall, I am satisfied. Paddling without electric assistance felt a bit more strenuous, as tracking straight with the fin was less enjoyable. I could be mistaken, though, and it may have been due to the current. In any case, fun on the water is guaranteed.

I received a response from JayKay regarding my issue within just a few hours, and 24 hours later the problem had been resolved to my complete satisfaction. I think that is unparalleled these days. Therefore, thank you once again for the fast and straightforward support.

I received the fin in a storage case with all accessories included. It looks very high-quality, and so far I have only tested it briefly. All functions work perfectly. I’m looking forward to the first longer trip. Everything feels very well made and can be mounted to the board very quickly. Thanks to the individual settings, including reverse mode, the fin is highly versatile. Clear recommendation 👍🏻

I tested the e-fin directly in the North Sea and was really surprised by how long the battery lasts. I almost made it from Tossens to Wilhelmshaven and back. I also wanted to test it on the Outer Alster in Hamburg, but unfortunately the remote control didn’t work there. I was already about to order a new one, but then I tried charging it again and it worked. It probably wasn’t completely dry yet (the charging indicator flashed red and there was no green charging bar). In any case, it’s an awesome device and I would buy it again anytime!!! It’s really fun to use!!!

It would be great if, when placing an order, you could choose the specific adapters you need instead of receiving the three included adapters.

I was very skeptical, and I was proven wrong… a fantastic product… the only thing I don’t understand… what is the return label for… you’re not getting this thing back!!!! 😄

I had the old e-fin, which had problems from time to time. I now have the 2.0 and so far I am very satisfied. I hope it stays that way.

The e-fin delivers what it promises. Easy to install, powerful support, and the battery life is acceptable. Nice fully integrated design without cables. ((-;

Communication and delivery were perfect. How the product performs in practice I will only find out in September when I go to Croatia and put it into use.
